My wife and I decided to try this place for lunch, wait staff was very friendly and informative, my wife ordered a chicken salad and I had the smash mushroom burger, both were very good, will be back to try the breakfast menu 😋

This place has become my regular stop after gym sessions. Their cold brew gives a nice energy boost without tasting watery like many cafes nearby. Tried the tuna wrap for the first time and it was surprisingly filling. The AC felt a bit too cold near our table, though moving seats solved the issue easily.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Cub Cafe for about a year and a half, coming in 5–6 times a week, spending about $9 a day, $54 a week and about $216 a month. So it’s really disappointing to say that my recent experiences have changed how I view this place. One of the main reasons I supported this cafe so consistently was because they previously used 100% vegan syrups, which made it a safe option for me as someone with a severe dairy allergy. Recently, I ordered a drink with their banana syrup and became extremely sick afterward. At the time, I didn’t even question the cafe because i’ve anyways known them to use vegan ingredients. However, I later found out that the recipe had been changed to include real butter—without any notice or communication to customers. For people with food allergies, transparency is not optional—it’s essential. A change like that should be clearly labeled or communicated, especially when it introduces a major allergen like dairy. Not doing so puts customers at real risk. Since the recent loss of a manager, the overall experience also feels like it’s declined, which is unfortunate because this used to be a place I trusted and genuinely enjoyed supporting.

The coffee was fresh and very good, but the danish I ordered was soggy and undercooked. The ladies behind the counter were nice, but after 15 minutes of waiting my danish never came out and I had to remind them to bring it out. The inside is nicely decorated and welcoming.

I love this place. Food is great! Vibe is great! Service is solid. Great place for when you're in between meetings and need a spot to answer emails. Or to simply chill. Not quite on a first name basis with this place, but that might happen haha
